Here is a video that I put together to answer and clarify some of the feng shui questions with regards bed placements. Wherein looking at the form of the room and finding the best location for your bed trumps the formula theory. When you refer to your best directions, you are using the Formula Method, that is the Eight Mansions theory; whereas when you look at the room and base on the layout you decide which is the best area for your bed, you are using the Landform Method.
